Bowing down to pressure from Greenpeace and 47,000 emails sent by environment conscious people, Philips, the Dutch electronic company decided to take financial responsibility in recycling its toxic e-waste, thereby receiving the Guide to Greener Electronics star. Although it is yet to implement it, it has made a right beginning.
